Question Diesel Exhaust pipes?

Hi all,

I am about to order a 180hp diesel XE.

The Dutch brochure states that the 180hp diesel has two exhaust pipes, one left and one right. But Jaguar The Netherlands and my dealer tell me that all diesels have twin pipes on one side...

Does anyone know about this?

Thanks in advance!
Marc.

I'm not sure if we have actually seen a diesel XE at any auto shows so it is hard to say.

What would you prefer?

I can't say for sure, but I do know XF diesel for example does only have the single side exit...

Hi all,

Just got a email from my dealer... The XE R-Sport (blue) on the Paris Autosalon had two pipes on the left. The badge showed "2.0D" ...so it was the 180hp Diesel.

I prefer pipes to the left and right. But when trying to order the special gloss back skirt, Jaguar told me it cannot be fitted to the 2.0D.

There's a good chance some diesel models may show up at the shows coming up in the next few months.

yea I think the symmetry would look better, but that is not to say that the double pipes to one side looks bad.

My dealer sent me similar pics... I have to admit that I can live with them... saves me some money for a more expensive extra set of wheels....
