caradvice.com has published a review of the 2015 Jaguar XE S and the author has suggested that the S may not be the final version of the Jaguar XE.

Starting at $104,200, no including the additional on road costs and taxes, the XE S comes with a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine. Not sure if there are other variations but the one being reviewed is rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Great acceleration too since it goes from 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds.

Here are the key points of his review.

Positive: Brilliant ride quality and comfort; playful through corners; raunchy supercharged six is a hoot; smooth transmission; great media system

Negative:Rear seat space and boot room lacking; could be better equipped; some interior design elements not as premium as rivals

Overall, an 8.5 out of a possible 10 and it comes with the generous warranty package.
I may wait it out and see what else Jaguar will come out with.

You can follow the general rule of 'dibs', whoever can't sit comfortably in the back due to their height has dibs on the front passenger seat. If the Jaguar XE can fit four adults, I'm sure the Jaguar XE S can too.
It may have a smaller boot but the Jaguar XE is supposed to come with a spare tire. Don't think it's competition with the bigger boot has this.
