caradvice.com has published a review of the 2015 Jaguar XE S and the author has suggested that the S may not be the final version of the Jaguar XE.

Starting at $104,200, no including the additional on road costs and taxes, the XE S comes with a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine. Not sure if there are other variations but the one being reviewed is rear-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Great acceleration too since it goes from 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds.

Here are the key points of his review.

Positive: Brilliant ride quality and comfort; playful through corners; raunchy supercharged six is a hoot; smooth transmission; great media system

Negative:Rear seat space and boot room lacking; could be better equipped; some interior design elements not as premium as rivals

Overall, an 8.5 out of a possible 10 and it comes with the generous warranty package.
I may wait it out and see what else Jaguar will come out with.

Less people will want to sit in your car if the rear passenger seats are uncomfortable. I see that as a plus. :D
I assume most people who purchase the Jaguar XE S or something similar is not looking for rear passenger or trunk space but for how it drives and how comfortable the driver is. The main focus is the driver and those curves on the road. The con is negligible in light of it's handling and speed.
Found out in an Australian review that the cruise control keeps you at az constant speed while going up steep hills.
Up a steep hill with the cruise control set to 80km/h the transmission kicked down one gear, but the engine mustered enough torque to maintain speed, even below 2000rpm.
Good news for anyone who needs to or wants to drive up and down steep hills!
