There's no shot the US is going to see the XE start below $30K. Its a thresh hold, once you go below it has a certain damage on the prestige of the brand, I don't think Jag is going for that...

That seems to be the consensus, logically it works as well when you consider the cost of competitors.
A4: $35,500
3 Series: $32,750
C Class: $40,400
Of course there are nuances to the price discrepancies. Included kit is a major factor, the BMW for example is barren at that price point. If Jag can offer the proper mix of kit and price theres no reason for people to say no besides stereotypes and misguided loyalty
