So although we have to wait until 2016 for the XE to hit showrooms it seems that the XE is already in the final development stages. This XE prototype has been spotted out and about and it seems to be wearing its production ready skin. Its clear the XE will be related to the XF albeit with an updated and sharper language. Its supposed to be wide, low and sporty.

I think its safe to assume we can disregard the odd spoiler over the rear glass, it seems the sole purpose is to confound you and I

That's a camoflauge so people can't see the details and features of the car properly....
