Welcome Barry,

Are you building a villain XE :) Pretty in Black!

Where are you from?
19'' Venom (after sale)
PS... great wheels! I ordered the same on my Prestige as an after sale....
Thanks for welcoming. Despite all the nice colours I always end up with Black or Black. From the Netherlands btw .

Mooi, nog een XE erbij in NL :)

I guess you choose the 163ps because of the idiot Dutch tax system? That's why I didn't choose the R-sport, I wanted a 18ps automatic... so it's the 180ps Prestige for me.

(with the Venoms as a great after-sales accessoire... )

My dealer keeps telling me that I will get mine in june... chassis number already assigned to me.

Marc.
Beside the tax system I feel the difference in price is too big for only 17HP.
The automatic is not a issue for me although it's the the same as the BMW using and believe it's the best around.

I ordered the car only 3 weeks ago as I was scarry to order without seeing the car first in live. So I visit the Autosalon in Brussels first prior ordering that may be the reason of one months difference as I believe you ordered way in advance.

Who will be your dealer ?
I agree on the 17ps.... but the 50nm more torque is interesting.

I ordered my XE back in october without seeing it in the metal...I was invited for the Masters of Luxury event in december and that proved me that my decision was good :)

My dealer is Munsterhuis Sports Car in Hengelo. Yours?

Marc.

PS... the 180ps has visible exhaust pipes, also of some importance to me :)
On the HP and torque we have to see, if disappointing I could consider tuning by Van Beek autoracing but experience learned it would be sufficient. The exhaust though I fully agree it's a bit a downer not to see the pipes and frankly speaking do not know why jaguar created like this

My car will be delivered by RAC, Rotterdam.
I now drive a 220CDI Mercedes C Coupe and love its torque... we'll have to see how it turns out...maybe a drag race? Hahaha

The exhaust pipes are really a ridiculous decision from Jaguar.... a sports car with the most aggressive nose of alll mid-size cars without some great pipes... Unbelievable... For me the final push to choose the 180ps.

I really love your cars' agressive blackness, Idres Elba also drove it in the video. And the Venoms are really killing! The best wheels for this car.
Dragrace, maybe better not ...Haha.

I drove the 320d , same torque same HP and actually gives a good performance.

I fully agree on yr comment about the exhaust pipes it's a bit silly but frankly speaking I have to admit that I found out later that the 163 Hp din't had visible pipes and there was no room money wise anymore to change without dropping other specs. No visible pipes is a bit old school though.

Looking forward to see some pics when yr car arrived as the grey one looks really good. Believe you will be one of the first to receive the XE in Holland ?
My dealer didn't even know about the exhausts. I had to email Jaguar UK to sort things out... The first brochure even mentioned two exhaust pipes (left and right) for the diesels...

I found out that things were a little bit different when I specced the sporty diffuser. The dealer informed that it wasn't available. After emailing Jaguar UK things got more clear.

Even the 200ps petrol engines don't have exhaust pipes.... silly decision.

Anyway, my dealer told me earlier this month that they received a chassis number for my car and I may expect it with the first batch (dealer cars?). But he also told me that all recent orders were not yet accepted by Jaguar's ordering system.... strange.

We'll have to wait.... a long wait.
Yep will be a long wait indeed ..!
Will check with my dealer or they are aware of the ordering problems.

Good news is that they first XE's are coming out of the factory ....

that is an amazing photo
usually new cars have some orange peel going on, seems like the XE might have the least amount of it going on if any

I also wondering where the front fog light are on the car as I didn't see them on the standaard list nor on the
Accessories list, integrated in the front lights. Does anybody knows?

Don't know for sure, chances seen slim that we'll get them.
