This is going to be one fun dogfight in my wholeheartedly unprofessional opinion....

Mercedes-Benz has slipped out the first details of its all-new C63 AMG muscle car, confirming it will produce even more grunt than the flagship AMG GT coupe.

The German brand today issued a press release highlighting the global popularity of its V8-powered super sedan ahead of the all-new model's unveiling at the Paris motor show in a fortnight.

Within the release it also announced the all-new version will produce 375kW from its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 - the same peak output as the GT.

But, surprisingly, the C63 will generate even more pulling power with its maximum torque figure of 700Nm eclipsing the GT by 50Nm.
More twist than the AMG GT....

fuel economy on the new C63 is great too:

The Environmental Protection Agency rates the outgoing C63 AMG at 13 miles per gallon in the city and 19 on the highway. Mercedes says the new twin-turbo model will be 32 percent more fuel efficient. That would put the new AMG C63 in the 20 m.p.g. range for combined mileage.

32 percent more fuel efficient with that kind of power, I like.

But of course people who buy this aren't as concerned about gas mileage as others, still something to consider to an extent. At least on paper when compared to other vehicles, it can help it and MB look better.

Where in gods name did they get those numbers from? 13 and 19 averaged out do not equal 20 LOL. And I wouldn't consider an optimistic 19 on the highway as great! But of course the C63 was never intended to be frugal ;)
No idea, i'd like to know as well. For things like this i rather see real world numbers.

Of course 19 on the highway is not great, but it's great in this type of vehicle.
