Are they going to continue this ad campaign with the XE or are they doing something else (the whole Idris Elba thing).

I'd like to see an XE villain ad though. I think that this is a great ad campaign by Jaguar.

the campaign is going to get old, people will get tired of seeing the same thing and after seeing it once... it's only diminishing returns for them. For a vehicle like this they'll want to keep things fresh.

Yea I guess you are right, but it is a good ad campaign. Not something that I had seen before this. I hope they are able to come up with something equally as creative for the future.

i'm sure they will JLR seems to be good at that from what i have seen, specifically from Land Rover, we'll see.

They aren't portraying Elba as a villain though. He is just being himself.

Land Rover recently took a bunch of people to Iceland to try out their new SUV. That is basically an ad campaign. I'll agree that JLR does good ad campaigns. All the most recent ones I can think of I have been a fan of.

i think they even had some short films which were quite effective at getting the message across in a unique way, always a fan of the short films from auto makers.

As long as they are done well then I am a supporter. It certainly stands out from the crowd of regular car ads and marketing.
