Just collected my XE 2.0t petrol in Ammonite Grey/Latte, very excited as I previously owned a X-type 2.1L for 5 years (sold it back in 2007). Though most reviews of XE have negativity feeling with regards to the X-type mostly due to it Ford DNA but I personally find it to be a real joy to ride in the X-type. I actually own a Ford Mondeo before upgrading to the X-type and I really cannot felt and find any similarity when driving the X-type. Having said that, the styling and handling of the new XE is a whole new experience for me.
