Hello from Charlotte, NC!

I have done a couple things so far and it is a work in progress but I have been slowly plasti-dipping anything that is chrome to be matte black and I also added green trim and a green knight rider light (for legal reasons) and now I look like a Seahawks fan unfortunately but here are links to a couple quick videos that show the lights.

Apparently I have to post for the first time before I can post links so hopefully there will be links here shortly.

So not sure how many posts I need to be able to post links so I'm going to keep replying to myself to see if that will help.
Hello, great ride! Is this your first JAG? I remember when I have leased my first Jaguar at DSRLeasing, amazing times - never had such a joy from riding before, enjoy and welcome!
Love how the lighting look and with JLR being involved in the James Bond films, you can pass this off as something James Bond-like. Maybe in the future you will want to take more inspiration from that theme as well!
Yes, this is my first Jag. I came from a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan and this is a definite improvement. I am indeed leasing it so all the mods i'm doing are easy to remove when the lease ends such as plasti dipping the chrome to black and the green trim is just 3m adhesive so it comes right off. Thanks!
Thank you! I didn't think about James Bond when I did this. I came from a 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan which is reminiscent of an Aston Martin which was more James Bond-ish than this Jag. I wasn't really going for a theme at this point but more so just making a unique car even more unique to me by adding some contrast to it. I am about to be 32 so from the outside, the Jag does look obvious that it is driven by someone younger and not older. I plan on continuing to black out all the chrome on the car and be done with it so its black and blue with green trim. (I look like a Seahawks fan right now but i'm not :))
I changed the trim to be blue instead of green. Much better.

HEY! I am from Charlotte as well. I just bought a used 2017 XE 35t R Sport AWD ;)
Congratulations! I have had mine for almost two years and it has been nothing short of amazing. I don't have a good recent picture of the customizations i've been doing but if you see a dark blue Jag with lots of blue accents, that's me!

Beautiful. A little jelly because I actually wish I had that color but dark blue and white were the only available colors at the time and with gray you can accent it with any color you want! I have not actually seen that color on the road yet so if I do, I'll know who it was :) It's a great feeling to be a marvelous underrated rarity in the wild. If anyone reads about or watches any videos about Jaguar's XE SV Project 8, maybe one day the world will understand our awesomeness.
