Jaguar hasn't revealed all the details for the XE family when it arrives in the US. We don't know about the base XE 25t's turbocharged 2.0-liter four, nor do we have the XE 20d's specifications.

Thankfully, Jaguar has given us pricing information for the US XE models, and you'll be happy to know that the pricing is very competitive. Along with pricing information, Jaguar also has given details of its stronger warranty package which will be offered on every 2016 model year Jaguar.

The Jaguar XE 25t will start at $35,895. To put that in context, that is $1,000 less than the 2016 Audi A4, and $3,980 less than the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-class. Cheaper competitors include the BMW 320i at $34,145, and the Cadillac ATS 2.5 at $34,210.

The XE 20d is Jaguar's diesel-powered XE model and it starts at $37,395. The 20d is more affordable than the BMW 328d that costs $40,845.

The top of the range Jaguar XE 35t is priced at $42,695. Here again the XE is priced very competitively when compared to the competition. It is $4,100 less than the BMW 340i, and is also priced lower than the Audi S4 at $50,125 and the Mercedes-Benz C450 at $51,725. It is slightly more than the $42,335 Cadillac ATS 3.6.

Jaguar also announced a stronger warranty package for all Jaguar vehicles beginning with all 2016 model year vehicles. Jaguar will offer 2016 model year vehicles with Jaguar EliteCare, an ownership package that includes complimentary scheduled maintenance and a limited warranty 5 years or 60,000 miles.

The complimentary scheduled maintenance sounds great but the 5 years or 60,000 miles limited warranty sounds a bit too low for me. The average driver racks up around 15,000 miles per year and for those who likes to travel or just take joy rides in their XEs this number would be higher. So the warranty would only last around 4 years or less.

That warranty is better than almost every other brand, so if you aren't happy with it, you won't be happy with anything.
Indeed good warranty and one of many smart things for them to do to get more of these out on the road which as a core volume product will help folks notice the Jaguar brand even more.
Yea visibility can really help out Jaguar. I'm sure many people will see a Jaguar, and then like it and go buy one themselves. Currently, Jaguar isn't very visible on the roads -- not compared to a lot of other brands.

I mostly see XF's and even those aren't all that common, the next one is the F-Type but for that you need to be more in a wealthy area.
