Jaguar Land Rover is developing a new 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that will be used as an alternative more fuel-efficient option to its larger power plants according to Joe Eberhardt. He also remarked that many luxury vehicle customers don't really care if six or eight cylinder engines are powering their vehicles. He says that automakers now "place more emphasis on going easy at the pump."
The new turbocharged engine will be produced at its new $750-million engine plant in the United Kingdom.
