it's really the only engine that can get those numbers.

Will the diesel engine be the top engine for the XE?

As far as MPG's go it will, not easy for a gasoline engine to get an MPG rating as high as a diesel.

I'm also thinking that they might not want to bring the diesel here in order to bring a hybrid model instead since that is what the US market is really pushing for.
