I haven’t had to change them on my own yet, but a road accident is only as far away as the next daffed character who drops metal shrapnel off the back of his lorry. I’m going to buy an alloy wheel wrench, and I don’t want to be in the middle of changing my tire, to find out how to do it.

Anyone had to remove the lugs from their XE wheels yet? If so,

1. What teir and what size wheels do you have (Base w/ 17” wheels, Portfolio with 18”, etc…)?

2. Are your lugs 17mm, 18mm, 19mm?

3. Are the shiny lug heads we see as we walk near the car… are they the ACTUAL lug head, or just a decorative cover you have to pry off to reach the real lug nut behind it?
