Model Variants for the Jaguar XE

It hasn't even been a day since the Jaguar XE was revealed in a bizarre 2.5 hour long dramatic and theatrical debut, but we already have speculation about what other model derivatives we could see from the XE. All these extra variants would go a long way in helping Jaguar to compete against its German rivals, who have been aggressively expanding their lineups in recent years.

There are talks about a few different model variants, which include a wagon, a 2-door coupe and a range-topping SVR model. Those variants could be seen on the market in 2015 or 2016.

Along with those models, there is also the confirmed XE SVR variant which will come out in 2016. This model will run on the F-Type's V8 5.0-liter which will produce 489 bhp. This model could be a contender to the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the BMW M3/M4. That engine should get the XE SVR going from 0-100 km/h in around 4 seconds. The electronically limited top speed should be around 250 km/h.

OK, but now we have these renders and I was also talking about the possibility of a wagon and an SVR version. I don't see why you seem to be nipping the conversation in the bud.

Because we've had the conversation elsewhere. @1XEJon has confirmed to us the coupe, convertible and wagon (SB) well in advance...

XEC has already been agreed. along with XECC, XESB, CX-17 and one other yet to be confirmed model.
and @DeluXE confirmed the SVR XE about a month ago

Jaguar is to take the fight to the BMW M3 with a hot SVR version of its new XE packing a 489bhp V8
A thread in which you commented on already. No need to get uppity mate ;)>:D
Do you think that they will end up doing a convertible version as well? Seems like they are doing every other type of XE variant.

if the CEO starts doing all sorts of drugs, then yes.
Found a render of what the coupe XE would end up looking like? What do you guys think? Is it better than the sedan?

I like it too. Very slick and streamlined. I could see that selling very well.
