Hello there,

I just got confirmation that my lease on the XE has been approved. Unfortunately it will be a few months until it arrives (oct-2015).

But here are the specs:
2.0D 180PK Prestige automatic in Storm Grey
18" 5-star spoke wheels
Privacy glass
Advanced parking assist
Memory Pack with folding mirrors
Navigation pack
Convenience pack
Head-up display

Interior
Light Oyster
Veneer Satin Grey Ebony

Unfortunately, I'm now situated very close to my customer (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). But of course I'm very excited about the car.

I'll post a message again when I get the car. Until then, nice meeting you all! Happy holidays from The Netherlands!

Regards,

Welkom op het forum, Alien!

Nice spec... not a lot of 180ps versions ordered in NL so far. Most orders are 163ps diesels.

Happy waiting!
Marc.

@Marc,

Dank je wel!

for me, I automatically chose the 180ps, since my last car is 174ps. Any idea why people prefer the 163ps?
I'm sure you posted it on the forum, but I can't find it right away. So let me ask here. What model do you drive?

The 163ps is cheaper and if you want a R-Sport trim with the lower 20% tax benefit, the 180ps isn't possible.

I have ordered a 180ps prestige, ammonite grey, sunroof, privacy glass, latte interior, winter pack (Xenon) and navigation. And 19" Venom (or maybe Radiance) alloys as an accessory.

Welcome to the forum!

I like your color choices, interior and exterior.

Looking forward to plenty more discussion as we watch Europeans get their cars and we North Americans wait for the XE to make its way over the pond.

Yup, some interesting times and important since everyone is on the look out for what ever issues may come up, hopefully nothing too concerning!

Hi Marc,

yes, that makes sense. But I think I'll enjoy the 180ps better, and I don't have the tax issues. You have very nice specs too. And nice wheels. Will you post some pictures when you get the car?

Welcome to the forums! Is your XE in the first batch of allocation for the NL?
@BJM: I think the first batch will be delivered in July or August, even though I'm not really sure. But I think it won't be the first batch, since the dealer offered delivery in September. (Unfortunately my current lease contract expires only in October)

Actually my XE is in the first batch for the Netherlands. It was built on May 4th and now in NL on the way to my dealer....which was summoned by Jag NL to hold it till June 18th, the official Dutch launch date :crying:

So your XE is ready and waiting and they are just holding onto it because they haven't reached the launch date yet? That is slightly frustrating.
