Hi Guys,

I'm from Germany and saw the Jag XE in a commercial with the BMW 3 series.

The new design from Jag is maybe the best from all the companies. The F Type is the nicest coupe from all, but the price is maybe a little bit to high for me :D

My car history began with an Opel Corsa C 1.0, than a VW Scirocco 2.0 TSI DSG and now an Passat CC 2.0 TDI DSG.

I alway want an car wich you don't see at any corner. But with the Scirocco the problem was, that after a few years it became cheaper an so more and more younger people were able to buy a used one. Now the same with the Passat CC.

Also I'm interested in some new experience with other companies. As Audi's design is for the last years always the same, and I don't like the BMWs interior only the Merc C class would be a possible solution. I like the new design and interior. But the problem here would be, that the car is a standard business car...

So I hope on a good Jag XE and let's see how the first tests would be.

I hope you understand what I have written. My english skills are a little bit rusty.

Have a nice weekend!

@ Manxxy: No Jag get me totally since they launched the F-Type. I thought a lot of it to rent it for a weekend, but it will cost me around 600€... So I left it with the thought of a renting. :D

My first notice of newer Jaguars was with the XJ. But I am not the target group of this car. I like it a little bit more sporty. And the price is also a bit to high.

As I mentioned in my first post, the design for me plays an important role, and so fare the Jag designer does a good job.

was it the design of the F-type that attracted you to it over other jaguars?

Especially the sound of the engine! I saw a short clip with Jeremy Clarkson in Top Gear when he drove the F Type. He had the V8 model and the V6 with the compressor I think.

Also I saw some other german shows like Grip on RTL2 (if you want to google it) where they tested the F Type against the 911...

As always the Posche wins at the end, maybe because it get's tested by an german...>:D I don't know.

But in every test they were absolutely flashed by the sound.

Also there are some little details which I like a lot. Like the door handles which hide seamless to the door or the ventilation at the dashboard wich only came out, when needed (okay, the last feature is also in the XF)

The design in complete is also especially at the coupe a dream. But as I said before I like all the new Jag's a lot. The XF looks for it class also astonishing.

Better get it tested by the British and the German :D
What are the chances the Brits will do poorly with a German car? ;)
