new here and new to jaguar.
been a lexus IS owners for a few years now and just getting bored of it. right now im looking at a few cars, the upcoming XE, BMW 3 series, Mercedes C-Class and a few others. Im not in a big rush to get a new car so I just might wait for the XE.

Me too, been a previous owner of Jag's and a deposit has been placed.

Deposits are accepted, even though little else is known, by placing a deposit, it guarantees one of the first customer orders, as soon as order details are available (Sept/Oct Paris Show) the rest will be completed.

Is Jaguar looking for a set denomination for XE deposits or just a couple to get your name on a list?

A grand was all it took to get on the list, once specs etc are availed to chose a further £2k is required, then the rest when delivered, which will be June next year.

I think you will find any dealer will take your money, you need to be sure they keep you up to date with developments

Yup, i'd say if they aren't on point or seem to not care from the very start, just walk out, go somewhere else if you can
