Hey, just purchased my first Jag. Been looking for a new car to replace my current Golf R. Which is a great car just not suited to my family any longer. (Second baby on the way)

So had a look at some BMW, Audi, Merc, the typical German saloon cars. Wasn't impressed by any of them. I saw an advert come up online about the XE so I popped along to my local dealer who had a stunning example in there showroom. A test drive later and I was sold! Literal sold the showroom model lol.

I'll be picking it up in a week. Spec is as follows.

R Sport 180 manual in Bluefire with jet blue interior.

Cold climate pack
Memory pack
Park pack
10x10 seats
4x lumbar support
18" Templar wheels
Pano Roof
Blind spot monitor

Are they that unreliable? I know they aren't great, but are they frequently problematic? I thought a bigger issue with them was ordering parts in.
It's just that there's a lot of techy things going on and at times when things do go wrong it can be costly in time and money to get it fixed. Plus it's the overall long standing understanding of what to expect from german brands.
