No Support from Pirelli

I recently tagged a submerged pothole and damaged two tires and wheels. I was disappointed to learn the OEM Pirelli P-Zero tires do not carry a road hazard warranty. Another tire showed bulges and was replaced at the same time, again with no warranty support. The P-Zero tires drive great but are a bit fragile, especially for costly tires with no warranty. Anyone have experience with other tires on a XE?
