Hello everybody,
I am from Belgium and ordered an F-Pace First Edition. Here all parking Assistance are optional...
I didn't find any video/demo about those options on the web. Provided the systems will be similar on XE/XF/F-Pace, that will be nice if someone can make a demo of those options

I've found a demo of the surround cameras with a 2015 discovery sport on Youtube but not sure it is the same system.

In fact, my query is :
Just front/back sensors with back camera
Or 360 sensors PDC with back camera
Or 360 Surroud cameras system

The cameras should be nice to avoid scratches on the 22" wheels but if they are not accurate enough (read somewhere about 30cm) they are useless for this purpose... Quality of the pictures is important too...

I hope my dealer will have an New XF fitted with them to test....

Great find!
The parking assist is a must for me when backing into tight spaces but if they are 30cm off then that may render them useless. May as well save the money and park old school.
Let me know how it goes at your dealer.

Surround camera Jaguar XE XF PACE

Hello,
I've just got my new XF and I also took the surround camera system to avoid damage to my 20" rims.
The option is complete useless and jaguar unworthy. On the left and right side, the rendering of the car is 30cm wrong (car is drawn to big on the screen). On the front it's even 70cm (!! no kidding) and at the rear it's about 40cm wrong.
For example when I park my car in my garage, the surround camera indicates that the front is 10cm outside my garage. In reality, it's 60cm INSIDE the garage.
On the sides it indicates that I have only a few centimeters on the left and right. In real, it's more then 20cm on each side.
Real waste of money, although my dealer recommended it instead of the park assist option. So, DON'T BY THIS!! I've send a mail to jaguar and asked for a refund.

On top of that, they forgot to mount my front parking sensors. I'm really pissed off!

I guess that feature is useless then if it can't properly indicate the correct measurements...
