My XE came with the powertrain badge.

Has anyone tried debadging. How should i proceed with debadging and are there any cons.

I ordered mine without powertrain badge.

The safest way is to use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat up the glue under the badge and then run floss behind to remove it, all without scratching the paint.

A lot of videos out there show you how to do it.

Pretty much what Kingpin said. Just make sure you have some goo-gone (automotive) after and some polishing compound to clean up the bits after.
