Salt and Aluminium...

Aluminium is highly susceptible to corrosion from salt. For those who live in coastal regions with high salt concentration in the air and those who live in snowy regions where salt is the primary road de icer you may be in for a nasty surprise or two...

I assume that Jaguar has done things to protect the aluminum from breaking down, but it is still something worth thinking about. It would be pretty disastrous to have XEs running around with salt damage on them. I'm sure jaguar thought of this and did some cold weather testing.
It's something they should mention, i hope. i'm sure a lot of poeple are asking the same question
