I found this rendering of what the Jaguar XE could look like online. The front end of it looks nice, but I think there will be some more contours on the side perhaps. It has a pretty boring profile.

The headlights look really nice too.

It seems pretty clear what the front of the car will look like, at least generally. The renderings have different ideas for the belt line across the side of the XE, and I'm hoping that they find a way to integrate the tailight design from the F-Type.

Im liking these renderings, the first couple are a bit too simple but it's practical, we could see it looking like that.

IF That blue is a colour available, then hello, that's my choice for the colour of our new XE, it is a bit too close to polestar blue, on Volvo's though, love the wheels too, we will definitely be upgrading wheels, as Jaguars poverty spec wheels have always been poo.

It would be a good rival to BMW's new Yas Marina Blue, or what ever it's called, this seems to come close.

Yea thats french racing blue and from what I can tell FRB is only available with the top of the line R's and R-S...

as for the tails I do think an F-Type style tail lamp could find its way onto the XE's rump. Consider the CX-17 concept...

I really hope that the XE is NOT a parts bin car, because it will get slated if it is, under the skin, share what you want, outside, has to be new, by doing otherwise, it will fail, and BMW, and Mercedes will be laughing all the way to the sales figures.

This car, is the one that will make or break the company, thats how important it is, Jaguar cant exist on 70k units a year, they have to expand and they have got to do it right, I feel they will, there will styling nods to F and XF, but i just hope no direct usages.

No I dont think anyone is expecting a direct share of head or tail lamps, but a design language is a design language. The Germans don't get to laugh at anyone design wise, especially not with their sterile lemon enema approach to style.

Look up and down Audi and BMW's lineup, each vehicle is a copy of a copy of a copy. Gingerbread cookie cutters...

It does... Its likely for internal benchmarks, that or consider that the CX17 (production name yet??) is expected to share engines, chassis and AWD with XE. So likely Jaguar is getting two birds stoned at once...

The tow hook is there to take electronic trailers, lots of manufacturers do this, the trailer carries all sorts of electronics that measure how pulling something reacts to the cars design.

It also assists in seeing how the car performs with extra weight and whilst towing.

Good points, not too familiar with how car makers go about this whole process. Now this has me wondering what towing cap might be like although i don't plan on towing too much, at most a sea-doo

That's what I was thinking. It doesn't really seem like the type of car that I would try to tow something with. And anyone who can afford a Jaguar should be able to afford a proper vehicle to do some towing if they need it.
