Prepare to say goodbye to the R-S badge Jaguar lovers as the company will replace it with the SVR one in the near future. Speaking to Dutch news outlet, Autovisie, John Edwards, the chief of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division confirmed the rumors that have been going online for quite some time now.

first to wear the badge is l494 range rover sport

I think there may be an ideological shift as well, where RS trims were just basically bigger motors jammed in, SVR could and should encompass the entire process. Jaguars own AMG...

So it might be more parts and upscale racing accessories instead of just bigger engines. I think that would be the right move for sure. It has to be about more than just going fast.
