So is there any substance to this though? Seems to me that it is just changing a few letters. Nothing is actually changing other than the name.

I think there may be an ideological shift as well, where RS trims were just basically bigger motors jammed in, SVR could and should encompass the entire process. Jaguars own AMG...

So it might be more parts and upscale racing accessories instead of just bigger engines. I think that would be the right move for sure. It has to be about more than just going fast.
