iPhone 12 phones are different in wireless charging, because of the new MagSafe technology. Apple claimed, that wireless charging with traditional, non-MagSafe Qi chargers was recently hindered in many cases due to iOS software itself. They promised improvement with iOS 14.3 and it actually worked out for many Qi chargers, that you would find in your home.
However, the Jaguar XE 2020 still seems to have severe problems with any iPhone 12. I tried my own as well as several phones from friends and they all didn‘t charge wirelessy at all. Very disappointing! And I can‘t tell, if it is Apple or Jaguar, who is to blame - perhaps both? I am still hoping, that it is no hardware issue and that one of the next iOS or Jaguar InControl OTA updates will finally fix the problem.
