Hi all,
Yesterday I was invited for the Masters of Luxury event in Amsterdam. Jaguar organized an invitation-only event to preview the XE.
There were around 200 people at their booth (it was crowded) where the blue 180hp diesel R-sport version was displayed. I had a brief chance to sit behind the steer. Unfortunately the chair was too far toward the steer. Because no electricity was available, the chair couldn't be adjusted. But the general impression was good. (and of course, the passengers in the back had enough space because of this).
The crowd didn't give me an option to make a great photo, but fortunately Jaguar posted some on Facebook...
I was very pleased with the car, seeing it for the first time in the flesh. Especially the back/tail of the car is very good, much better than many pictures show. (and the tail pipes look **** sexy...)
My dealer was present and I had a little chat with him. Last week I changed something to my configuration and he told me that he wasn't able to enter those adjustments in the Jaguar ordering system... he had to make them by email! So, it seems that the ordering books are now linked to the production process.... still no hard delivery date.
Cheers,
Marc.
